Cuatrecasas has held the ninth edition of its Women in Business (“WiB”) event, a landmark event aimed at female executives and businesswomen from different sectors. This year, with the slogan “Small changes, big impact. Connecting the dots,” the event focused on how small corporate changes can lead to significant transformations in organizations and, in many cases, in their sectors of activity.

This edition brought together over 170 attendees at the firm’s Madrid office, and the program included strategic reflection, leadership testimonials and artistic experience, while connecting these trends with female talent.

Luis Pérez de Ayala, vice chair of Cuatrecasas, opened the event and gave a welcome speech. He was followed by keynote speaker, Eva Azoulay, CEO at ITP Aero Group, who addressed the power of progressive changes to boost sustainable innovation and competitiveness.

Next, there was a discussion panel moderated by Diana Rivera, Cuatrecasas Corporate partner and one of the event’s organizers, with leading voices of the business ecosystem participating: Belén Linares, innovation director at Moeve; Cristina Roig, general manager of Heura Foods; Esther Soriano, general manager of Saint-Gobain Solutions; and Ramiro Iglesias, CEO and co-founder of Crescenta. Mariana Norton, Cuatrecasas Corporate partner and one of the event’s organizers, gave the closing speech.

Diana Rivera stated: “In this edition, we analyzed initiatives and experiences of innovative organizations that, based on small adjustments of products, processes and behaviors, have observed major results in their businesses, company culture and sustainability.”

In line with its vocation of connecting female talent, experiences and business perspectives, WiB 2025 incorporated an artistic component: a display of contemporary art by artists Bárbara Long, Inés Esnal and Iria Martínez, which the attendees could enjoy after the event.

Since its implementation, WiB Cuatrecasas has become a forum of debate and connection aimed at leading women, which addresses current issues and new business trends.

Regarding this edition, Mariana Norton stated: “The annual WiB Cuatrecasas conference aims to connect leading businesswomen from different sectors, to analyze current issues, as well as to share experiences and values such as excellence, innovation and integration, which are key values for our firm.”
