SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised global investment firm Alpha Wave Global on the financing granted to Alantra for the acquisition of a majority stake in Deudafix, one of Spain’s leading providers of technology solutions for debt management and other financial services for individuals.
The transaction, through which Alantra is acquiring 75% of the company, will help partially finance the growth of Deudafix’s business, which supports individuals in restoring their financial stability through debt restructuring and other complementary financial services.
The Cuatrecasas team advising on the transaction was made up of Carlos Lasarte de Launet and Álvaro Heras, from the Finance Practice, and Lourdes Menéndez, from Restructuring.
Commenting on the transaction, Carlos Lasarte said: “Alpha Wave Global’s proactive approach to identifying solutions that provided assurances for a transaction involving a highly fragmented underlying asset was key to the success of the deal, which was negotiated and executed on a tight timeline and with highly satisfactory results.”
