Liechtenstein Group and Glide Energy form alliance to develop photovoltaic projects in Spain

Cuatrecasas has advised the Liechtenstein Group on creating a joint venture with the Spanish solar energy developer Glide Energy, under which they will develop several photovoltaic and energy-storage projects in Spain, with a minimum capacity of 150 MWp.

Johannes Meran, CEO of the Liechtenstein Group, highlighted that the transaction with Glide Energy includes a long-term co-development agreement with a team of experimented developers, led by Marcos Sebares and Raquel Gadea.

Cuatrecasas partner Kai Christian Fischer said “it was a pleasure to assist the Liechtenstein Group with the creation of this joint venture, which marks its entry on the Spanish renewable energy market.” 

The Cuatrecasas team handling this transaction was led by partners Kai Christian Fischer (Corporate M&A/German Desk) and Luis Pérez de Ayala (Energy) and the associates Ignacio Giner (Energy) and Ander Portillo (Corporate M&A/German Desk).
