Ana María Sánchez is an expert in structured corporate financing in various industries, as well as in project financing. She has advised national and international borrowers, lenders and financial institutions, including commercial banks, multilateral organizations and export credit agencies.

She also specializes in infrastructure and public law, particularly in the structuring of infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships. She has advised leading infrastructure companies on participating in important public tenders in Colombia and regularly advises concessionaires on all kinds of projects.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked at leading law firms in Colombia, Peru and the US.

She is admitted to practice law in Colombia and in the State of New York.

She is an independent member of the board of directors of important infrastructure concessionaires in Colombia.
