Specialist in corporate law, M&A and economic competition

Analy Velasco is experienced in the structuring and development of M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate governance, and advising on corporate, contractual and regulatory matters related to industrial, commercial and service activities in Mexico.

In the area of economic competition, she has focused on advising companies on their daily operations, providing policies and training in legal compliance. She has also participated in complex merger processes, particularly in the regulated sectors and industries, and in cartel and abuse of dominance investigations.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, Analy worked as an associate at a prominent law firm in Mexico City, where she advised clients in the road industry, as well as in sectors such as the retail trade, entertainment, e-commerce, alcoholic beverages, and the pharmaceutical industry.
