Specialist in real estate and town planning; over 15 years’ experience in positions of senior management in the public sector and law firms specializing in these practice areas.

Camilo Cardona has participated in the advisory services for major real estate and town planning development projects in throughout Colombia and for diverse industries. He served as Legal Undersecretary for Planning for Bogotá from 2015 to 2019.

From the private and public sectors, he participated in structuring two of the largest urban development projects in Colombia (approximately 170,000 homes), and advised on the most important Colombian real estate transaction in recent years.

He has advised also clients on town planning and real estate matters for infrastructure, industrial, commercial and mining projects across Colombia. Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked for leading national and public sector law firms. He is admitted to practice law in Colombia.

He lectures in the Postgraduate Program on Urban Planning Law at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and participates in urban planning and regulation forums.

He currently coordinates the area of urban planning law at Centro de Estudios de Derecho Procesal–CEDEP.
