He advises financial institutions on transactional and regulatory matters, including on banking restructurings and on M&A operations in the financial sector, prudential and conduct rules, governance, payment services and FinTech, and investment services. In the capital markets area, he mainly advises on public offers, private placements and securitizations.

Between 2015 and 2018, he worked as an advisor to the Vice-President of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. Previously, between 2012 and 2015, he was an advisor in the cabinet of the Minister of Finance in the Portuguese Government, where he worked on financial stability and banking regulation matters.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.

Member of the Legal Committee of the Portuguese Corporate Governance Institute and member of the Governance Lab think tank.

Solicitor in England and Wales. Member of the Law Society of England and Wales.

Author of several articles and publications on banking and corporate finance matters.
