Héctor de Urrutia

Héctor de Urrutia is a member of the Indirect Tax Group and an expert in advising on VAT, particularly VAT applicable to intracommunity transactions, and VAT-exempt sectors and activities.

He advises foundations, associations and other non-profit institutions on tax and civil law matters, as well as on sponsorship and patronage. He also advises on incorporating and dissolving state and regional foundations and associations, as well as on drafting, reviewing and amending the bylaws of foundations, associations and chambers of commerce.

He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.

He lectures in the Master of Laws in Taxation at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.

He has appeared in the media offering legal opinions. He has published several articles and other works in his specialty area and speaks on courses and master programs, and at forums.
