Specialist in tax; over 30 years of experience advising on the acquisition and concentration processes of business groups.
Javier Laorden has advised on the legal planning and corporate organization of family businesses, as well as on foreign investments in Spain and Spanish investment abroad. He has also acted as a bankruptcy administrator in bankruptcy proceedings.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association, chair of the advisory committee of ANESVAD Foundation, a founding member of the Hispanic-Moroccan Jurist Forum and a member of the National Advisory Committee (Honors Committee) of the journal Educación y Derecho.
He is a former member of Spain’s General Council of the Judiciary and a member of the executive board of the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary. He lectures at ICADE School of Law and regularly speaks at talks organized by bodies specializing in taxation.
He has written several articles on tax law.
