Pol Cots is an expert in corporate tax with extensive experience advising large business groups on business restructuring, M&A and company transfers, as well as on the taxation of consolidated groups, and managing tax inspection proceedings.
He regularly advises national and international large business groups on the tax implications of incentive plans for directors and co-investment plans.
He also advises on matters relating to the taxation of the digital economy and new business models, and on the tax implications of transactions involving cryptocurrency and other cryptoassets.
Pol is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and the Global Equity Organization, and he also lectures in the Master of Laws in Taxation at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. He is an associate lecturer of tax law at Universitat de Barcelona and speaks at different tax courses and conferences.
