Expert in corporate tax planning and advice for national and international groups, and for large estates; also advising on new business models in the framework of taxation of the digital economy

Pol Cots advises large business groups on corporate taxation. He has extensive experience in advising on business restructuring, M&A transactions and company transfers, as well as on the taxation of consolidated groups and tax inspection proceedings.

He also advises on matters relating to the taxation of the digital economy and the tax implications of new business models, mainly relating to the taxation of cryptocurrency transactions and other cryptoassets.

He has participated as a speaker at legal conferences and events and is the author of several law review articles. 

He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and an associate lecturer of tax law at Universitat de Barcelona.
