Specialist in public law and in advising public authorities (autonomous regions, municipalities, public bodies and state-owned companies), as well as advising companies on their legal relationships with the authorities.
Sergio Fernández is an expert in town planning, environmental and real estate law, advising on all related areas, including town planning, management and regulations; and the environment and public contracts.
He has helped write the draft bills of the implementing regulations of (i) Act 2/1998, of June 4, on Town and Country Planning, and Planning Activities in Castilla-La Mancha; and (ii) Act 15/2001, of December 14, on Town and Country Planning, and Land, in Extremadura.
He is a member of the administrative, town planning and environmental law section of the Valencia Bar Association. He speaks regularly at conferences and courses on town planning.
He is the co-author of various guides on town planning law, and has written several articles on public law, as well as on matters relating specifically to town planning and real estate.
