SubscribeCuatrecasas strengthens its Tax Practice by hiring Jorge Gómez de Membrillera Ortuño as new counsel in its Valencia Office. Jorge will contribute to boosting leadership and development and to consolidating the firm's strategic commitment to growth in a practice that is constantly evolving. He will also help provide high-value specialized services involving corporate tax and family business, real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and business restructuring.
He has an extensive career working as a tax specialist for companies in key sectors such as industrial, tourism, real estate, automotive, agri-food, and distribution. He also has experience in corporate tax and family business, tax and estate planning, and corporate reorganizations, having participated in several M&A transactions of a different nature and magnitude.
He has a Bachelor of Laws, and Business Administration and Management from Universidad de Murcia. He regularly speaks at seminars and conferences organized by public and private bodies and institutions, such as Chambers of Commerce and professional associations and universities. He is also the author of various articles published in newspapers and journals that specialize in tax. He is a member of the association of economists of Valencia and is included in the Best Lawyers directory in Tax (Valencia).
