SubscribeCuatrecasas has finished a new edition of its internal Finishing Stages program aimed at lawyers that have joined the firm or have been promoted to senior associate in 2025. The program looks to create a workspace of learning and collaboration where, in addition to sharing experiences and thoughts on their professional future at the firm, participants can develop skills and generate a strong sense of belonging and promotion.
The initiative took place from September 29 to October 3 in Galicia, where 32 new senior associates from Barcelona, Bogotá, Lima, Lisbon, Madrid, Mexico City, New York, Porto and Santiago, completed four stages of the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James). Antonio Barba and José Ramón Berecibar (Tax and Corporate partners, respectively), accompanied the participants in one of the stages.
After each of the different stages, partners Martí Adroer and Rebeca Rodríguez, together with Núria Martín (human resources director), led workshops and conferences where participants could deepen their knowledge on (i) the firm, (ii) using essential tools and techniques for their daily work, and (iii) how to manage highly efficient and cohesive teams. Self-awareness for personal and collective development was also encouraged, and participants took part in an interesting workshop on leadership given by external lawyers.
Gemma Villalbí (human resources training manager), commented on this year's edition, highlighting “the high number of lawyers participating and the great cohesion that developed among them all.” Once again, the program has shown the decisive impact these kind of events can have on identifying the values that define the firm, and on the lawyers’ personal and professional growth.
