Julene Areitio advises companies on M&A transactions involving many jurisdictions, mainly concerning private equity and distressed M&A. She has participated in many hybrid transactions in the framework of business restructurings.

She also advises companies on the new foreign investment system in strategic sectors.

She is part of the firm’s group  specializing in restructuring.

She has developed her career at the firm’s offices in Barcelona, London and Madrid. 

She is the author of publications on private equity.

She lectures in the Bachelor of Laws at ESADE Business & Law School. 

She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
