Isabella Gandini has over 20 years’ experience advising national and international companies on hiring processes and contract termination, company mergers and acquisitions (due diligence and best practices), negotiating work-life balance with employees, proceedings before administrative authorities, and social security matters. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a Postgraduate Degree in Labor Law from the same university, and a Master in Human Resource Management from Universidad de Barcelona.
“It is an honor to join the Cuatrecasas team and contribute to developing the Labor and Employment Practice in the Bogotá office. The firm’s strategy in the region, supported by its extraordinary human capital, is the ideal basis to consolidate our position as our clients' best allies in highly complex situations,” expressed Isabella Gandini, on joining the firm.
Margarita Llorente has over 25 years’ experience practicing law in companies in the real estate and raw materials sectors. Her experience as an in-house lawyer was consolidated in companies like Glencore Colombia and Amarilo, where she was vice president of corporate, legal and sustainability matters. Her well-established experience in the sector provides her with solid and strategic knowledge of the real estate industry, particularly of complex corporate project development transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate financing transactions. She has a Bachelor of Laws from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a Master of Laws from Boston University, and is admitted to practice law in Colombia and New York State.
On joining the firm, Margarita said, “It is exciting to be part of this phase where Cuatrecasas is taking giant strides in its consolidation in Colombia and Latin America. It will be an honor to strengthen the Real Estate Practice in a firm that innovates every day and places clients and people at the center of everything it does.”
Manuel Quinche, managing partner of the Cuatrecasas Bogotá office, said, “We are so glad to welcome aboard Isabella and Margarita who are lawyers with impeccable professional track records. With their renewed vision of the legal services, they know their sectors and practice areas better than anyone, which will be a key factor in contributing to and assisting our clients.”
