Cuatrecasas advises Mutares on sale of Transportes Fuentes, furthering its divestment objectives

SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised private equity manager Mutares on the divestment of Transportes Fuentes, a logistics group based in Las Torres de Cotillas (Region of Murcia), which has been bought by a consortium headed by a franchisee of the Ontime Group and the founding family.
The company, specializing in temperature-controlled logistics and with revenues of around €200 million, was acquired by Mutares last July from the Lineage Group.
The sale of Fuentes highlights Mutares’s ability to identify businesses with solid models and attractive market positions, generating value in a short period of time through operational improvements and a differentiated strategic positioning.
The Cuatrecasas team handling this transaction was made up of Kai Fischer, Paula Martínez, and Iñigo Jiménez (Private Equity/German Desk); and Santiago Bayo (Private Equity).
