SubscribeDecree-Law 139/2025 of December 29 sets the guaranteed minimum monthly remuneration (“GMMR”) at €920, effective from January 1, 2026, revoking the previous Decree-Law 112/2024 of December 19.
This decree-law stems from the commitment made in the Agreement on Salary Increases and Economic Growth 2025–2028 (2025–2028 Agreement) within the framework of a plan for annual successive increases of €50, aimed at reaching a GMMR of €1,020 in 2028.
The minimum remuneration for 2026 is a €50 increase on the current amount of €870.
