Previously, was part of the Federal Economic Competition Commission and the Federal Telecommunications Institute, where acquired a deep understanding of regulatory functions, institutional dynamics, and the decision-making processes of competition authorities in Mexico.

Between 2020 and 2021, served as a professor of competition law at Universidad Anáhuac.
