Guido Maeda

Guido Maeda specializes in advising on mergers and acquisitions, the regulation of securities markets and the development of infrastructure projects. He advises national and international clients on M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, corporate finance, and the financing and development of projects in highly regulated markets, such as the electricity market.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, he was a senior associate at an important law firm in Perú where he worked on national transactions and transactions involving many jurisdictions.

He is a member of the Callao Bar Association.

He was an assistant lecturer at Universidad de Piura – UDEP  in 2024, and between 2018 and 2021, lecturing on the following modules: introduction to law, securities, and commercial contracts.

He also contributes to publications and writes legal articles for different specialized journals and other written media.
