Joaquin Lozano is an expert in judicial reviews, particularly matters relating to the environment, urban planning and regulatory law.

He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association, and is founder of the Association of Environmental Science Graduates of Andalusia, as well as a member of its management board.

He lectures in several master and expert courses organized by various institutions in Spain and abroad (Council on International Educational Exchange, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Instituto de Estudios Cajasol, Confederación de Empresarios de Andalucía, and Instituto de Práctica Empresarial). He is the author of several articles in specialized journals on environmental law.
