Luis Pérez de Ayala has been counsel for the state at the European Court of Justice, the Spanish Ministry of Justice and the Spanish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He is former secretary of the board of directors and head of legal affairs at ENAGAS, S.A., and a former member of its management committee. He has held different legal management positions at the Gas Natural Group.
He is a member of the board of examiners in the public competitive examinations to become counsel for the state, judge or diplomat, and is a member of Spanish Sports Arbitration Court.
He lectures at Centro de Estudios Universitarios Luis Vives of Universidad CEU San Pablo, IESE Business School and Instituto Superior de la Energía.
He speaks at conferences organized by prestigious centers and different forums related to the energy and gas sector.
He is the co-author and coordinator of several collective legal works.
