Mónica Gálvez is an expert in promoting and defending free competition, and in providing preventive advice in this area. She also advises companies on sanctioning administrative proceedings. She advises clients on implementing projects and transactions, including on obtaining permits and on risk analysis through due diligence. She also manages matters for government entities.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, she held leading positions in the public sector.
She is a member of the Lima Bar Association and a reference consultant for the Peruvian competition authority.
She was a teaching assistant in the courses Thesis Seminar 1 and Thesis Seminar 2 in the Master in Business Law (2007-2011), and assistant lecturer in the Course in Administrative Law II at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2008).
