Specialist in international contracts and litigation, in designing litigation strategies, in complex cases before arbitral tribunals and in alternative dispute resolution.

Pierre Raoul-Duval has participated in many negotiations for international commercial transactions, as well as handling engineering and turnkey agreements. He has advised in many international arbitration cases, mainly before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), in the areas of engineering and construction contracts, international trade, investment disputes, intellectual property and taxation. He has also been involved in several mediation procedures. His experience includes acting as president, co-arbitrator and sole arbitrator in ICC and American Arbitration Association (AAA) cases.

He is a member of the Paris Bar Association and is authorized to practice as a legal consultant in New York.

He is an is active member of various international professional organizations, including the International Bar Association, l'Institut pour l'Arbitrage International, l'Association Suisse d'Arbitrage, the American Bar Association, the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution.

He is a former member of the Panel of Conciliators of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law and Practice and of the New York City Bar Association’s Foreign and Comparative Law Committee.

He has written several articles on international arbitration and on alternative dispute resolution.

In 2020, he was named Chairman of the recently created Arbitral Tribunal of the Principality of Andorra.
