Tiago Amorim specializes in public and regulatory law, as well as in arbitration and the environment. In recent decades, he has handled some of the most important public-private projects in Portugal.
He has represented clients in several arbitration proceedings, also having acted as arbitrator many times.
He started his career at Cuatrecasas where, during eight years, he led the public law team. Later, he worked at other law firms in Portugal and was the founder of one of those law firms.
He is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association.
During various periods, he combined his practice of law with academic activity as a lecturer on seminars and postgraduate courses at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Universidade Católica Portuguesa — Escola do Porto and Universidade do Porto.
He is the author of several law articles in collective works and specialized journals and regularly participates as a speaker at round tables and conferences.
