Cuatrecasas advised WatchGuard Technologies on (i) acquiring Panda Security and (ii) refinancing its debt. WatchGuard Technologies, with headquarters in Seattle, is a global leader of security solutions: network security, secure Wi-Fi, multifactor authentication and endpoint security. Its shareholders include technology-focused private equity funds Francisco Partners and Vector Capital. Panda Security is a leading global provider of advanced cybersecurity solutions. The integration of the two groups means that clients and partners will now receive all provisions of security services, ranging from network to endpoint protection, from one company.
