Since its creation in 2001, this cross-practice, multidisciplinary group has served as a bridge between cultures and markets, offering comprehensive, top-quality service to German-speaking companies, investors, and law firms.
To mark this anniversary, the firm held a special event at its Madrid office attended by nearly 150 people from Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including clients, business partners, and representatives of DACH-region institutions in Spain, such as Ingo Stender, minister at the German Embassy in the country. The event highlighted the group’s track record and further strengthened ties with the companies that have placed their trust in its services over the past 25 years.
A pioneer of the Cuatrecasas international desk model, the German Desk has served as a reference point for the creation of other multidisciplinary teams in the firm. Today, it comprises over 35 lawyers who are fluent in German and operate from Cuatrecasas offices in Spain, Portugal, and Mexico. This multijurisdictional service enables the firm to deliver personalized and highly specialized advice tailored to the specific characteristics of each market.
Over the past quarter century, the German Desk has advised hundreds of German-speaking companies on crossborder transactions, international disputes, and labor and tax matters, supporting them through every stage of their business activity.
