SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised Prosolia Internacional on the acquisition from EDP Renovables España of a portfolio of five photovoltaic solar energy projects in Spain (Andalusia, and Castile and León), with an installed capacity of 229 MW and fully backed by long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs).
The Cuatrecasas advisory team handling this transaction—the largest carried out by Prosolia Internacional to date in terms of installed capacity—was made up of the following lawyers: Marcos García and Alfonso Coronel de Palma (Corporate and M&A); Agustín Cerdá and Íñigo Várez (Finance); and Alejandro Bonitch and Irene Ortega (Public Law).
