Yinson Holdings Berhad acquires renewable energy project in Colombia from Verano Capital

Through its Lima and Bogotá offices, Cuatrecasas has advised Yinson Holdings Berhad on acquiring the shares of a Colombian SPV developing a solar energy project in Chile from Verano Capital Holdings SpA, a renewable energy project developer headquartered in Chile.

The agreement is part of a partnership structure between Yinson and Verano for the development, and subsequent acquisition by Yinson, of renewable energy projects in Chile, Colombia and Peru.

The Cuatrecasas team in Lima led the negotiations for this acquisition in coordination with the Bogotá office team. Lawyers Oscar Trelles, Carlos Lasarte, Alessia Abello, Beatriz Helena Melo, Camilo Cardona, Luisa Toledo, Natalia Márquez and Pablo Martínez participated in the transaction.
