Cuatrecasas has advised Banco Davivienda, the Yellowstone Flagship Opportunity Fund IV private equity fund, and the Visum Desarrollo Inmobiliario Logístico private equity fund on a COP 75 billion financing for the Atenas Trust, an autonomous equity. The proceeds will fund the development, marketing, and operation of a new industrial and logistics center in the Bogotá savanna.

Located within the Clic 80 logistics complex, the development will offer 48,200 square meters of total leasable area and is designed to reduce operating costs and enhance long-term sustainability for investors and lessees. It will also be strategically situated along one of Colombia’s most important freight corridors, two kilometers from El Dorado International Airport.

“This transaction brought together two leading players in the region’s real estate and logistics infrastructure sectors, as well as one of the country’s foremost banks, underscoring the market’s confidence in this project, which was structured as a project finance transaction,” said Finance partner Juan Carlos Puentes.

The Cuatrecasas team advising on the transaction was led by Juan Carlos Puentes, with support from Finance lawyers Andrés Herrera, Juanita Calderon, Daniel Salazar, and Daniel Valderrama; and Corporate lawyers Natalia Villamizar, Alejandro Manrique, and Maria Garavito.
