Over more than 20 years of professional experience, Pol Solsona has acquired extensive expertise in structured financing transactions, including corporate, acquisition, and real estate financings, financings for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, asset-based lending, venture debt, multi-jurisdictional facilities, as well as debt restructuring transactions and secondary debt trading.
In the past decade, he has specialized in advising credit entities (both public and private), investment funds, major corporations, and sponsors in the field of real estate financings and renewable energy project financings, both in domestic and international transactions.
He is part of the Real Estate Law and Project Finance Groups at Cuatrecasas and serves as a member of the Firm's Pro Bono Committee.
In 2009, he worked as an in-house lawyer at Banco Sabadell, assisting the structured financings team with legal analysis of the bank's largest transactions. Additionally, in 2012, he was assigned to the London office of Cuatrecasas, particularly in the field of debt restructurings, where he assisted investment funds and distressed debt teams in secondary debt market transactions involving the trading of credit rights.
He is a collaborating professor in the Master's in Business Law at ISDE and in the Business Administration degree program at ESADE.
