SubscribeThe government continues to publish regulations that develop and implement the new regime for electric mobility, which was approved through Decree-Law 93/2025 of August 14.
This time, the government published Ordinance 31/2026/1 of January 23. This ordinance governs (i) the provision of electric mobility data by charging point operators (OPC) to the Data Aggregator Entity for Electric Mobility (“EADME”); and (ii) the aggregation and transmission of such data by EADME to the national access point, as provided in article 19 of the new regime.
For the purposes of the ordinance, “electric mobility data” includes the following:
- Static and dynamic data regarding charging points, as referenced in Article 20.2 of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (“AFIR Regulation”)
- Additional data that may be included by the Commission under the AFIR Regulation.
The ordinance enters into force on January 24.
