Cuatrecasas advises Renantis on selling platform to develop renewable energies in Mexico to Cubico

SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised the Renantis Group on selling a renewable energy development portfolio, consisting of eight wind and solar energy projects spread across several states in Mexico, to Cubico Sustainable Investments. In addition to negotiating the sale of the projects, the legal advice included the structuring and implementation of tax and labor matters.
The projects acquired by Cubico are at different stages of development—involving certain complexities regarding valuation, liability and form of payment—before both parties, in conjunction with their advisors, reached a satisfactory agreement.
