Cuatrecasas strengthens its Mexico City office by appointing Miguel Ángel Ortiz Gómez
as a new partner of its International Litigation and Arbitration Practice. With this appointment, Cuatrecasas reinforces its commitment in Mexico and its project regarding positioning and consolidation in the Latin American legal sector.
Miguel Ángel has over 15 years of experience and specializes in litigation, international arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods, particularly in Mexican amparo proceedings, judicial reviews, and civil, commercial and insolvency litigation.
The new Cuatrecasas partner has held different positions at federal public institutions in Mexico and specializes in the energy, regulatory and construction sectors.

Lucía Montes Saralegui | Partner of International Arbitration
Specialist in international commercial arbitration, particularly in the construction, infrastructure and energy industries, as well as in court proceedings in support and control of arbitration. She has extensive experience advising clients on major international projects, particularly in Latin America and the Middle East. A member of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club, she also forms part of the Advisory Committee of the Madrid Bar Association’s Construction and Engineering Law Section.
